The playlists above enable users to browse through decades of holiday classics.
It's the perfect way to view historical archives.
Thus, giving a closer look at the golden age of Film & Animation.
Longstanding Christmas traditions first included singing carols, and lighting a tree.
As centuries progressed, more customs were added.
Books & poems; Newspaper articles, Department Store window displays; Santa Claus visiting the shopping malls.
But perhaps, the biggest changes came in the 20th Century.
First, with the advent of Big Screen Christmas movies; and Animated Subjects.
Then finally, with feature length Christmas specials .....
such as Rudolph's Shiny New Year, Santa Claus is coming to Town, & The Grinch.
Best of all: The list keeps growing every year.

Christmas on Television is here to stay! .....And, it keeps getting better.


a few additional words:
In the past, I've used alternate playlists which are nearly identical.
For example: the {Christmas Movies & TV Shows} link has shown very high view counts, before resetting.
In any case, the outer titles above will always remain, while inner links can be substituted.
Meanwhile, the {Holiday Cartoons (from the 70's & 80's)} link is showing inaccurate view counts.
My cache's have shown the numbers dropping dramatically.
Literally reduced by 10,000 per video.
IN short, Myspace updates have often seized the view-count.
The Playlists are showing grossly inaccurate view-counts
Perhaps, Youtube, Facebook, and Myspace only promote high views with their affiliates!.

This holiday season I strongly recommend buying DVD's, Blu Ray Disks, and Music CD's.
I'll purchase plenty of Movies & Christmas shows for my collection.
